Chonluten - Synthesized Respiratory System & Stomach Peptide
Chonluten is a dietary supplement with а synthesized peptide of the respiratory system and stomach lining. It normalizes the function of the lungs and the bronchial and gastric mucosa by reducing their peptide deficiency and restoring protein synthesis inside their cells.
Chonluten is recommended for everyone whose respiratory system and stomach may be compromised, especially elderly people, athletes, and those with respiratory failure, lung diseases, a stomach ulcer or gastritis. Chonluten can be easily combined with other supplements and medicines and should be used in addition to conventional medical treatments.
Biologically active food supplement Chonluten is a peptide complex containing the following amino acids: glycine, glutamine and asparagine, normalizing performance of bronchial mucous membrane cells. Chonluten is produced in tablets or capsules. Each tablet or capsule contains 0.100 mg of an active substance. Experimental studies in the organotypic tissue cultures of lungs and bronchial mucous membrane showed, that Chonluten is capable of stimulating proliferative and functional activity of the main cellular elements of the tissue culture, reducing spontaneous cell death rate, enhancing regenerative-adaptive processes in proliferating and differentiating cells. Due to the above mechanism, the medication exerts a trophic and stabilizing effect on morphological integrity and tissue regeneration in the lungs and bronchial mucous membrane, improving their functions. Pre-clinical investigation of Chonluten biological effects in animals demonstrated, that its administration not only improves certain indices of cellular and tissue homeostasis in lung and bronchial mucous membrane cells, but also normalizes the functions of respiratory system as a whole, disturbed under the influence of stress, adverse environmental factors, development of age-related pathology.
Basing on the above, efficient application of Chonluten for restoration of respiratory system functions affected by various pathological states is anticipated. Chronic bronchitis is considered to be one of the serious medical and social problems due to its high and growing occurrence and mortality rate, huge economic detriment to the society. Chronic bronchitis is the main form in the structure of chronic non-specific lung diseases. Chonluten clinical trials were conducted on 47 patients suffering chronic bronchitis with asthmatic component at remission stage, including 26 men and 21 women, aged 38-65 years. In the beginning of the study the patients complained of sputum producing cough, mainly in the morning hours, general weakness, excessive perspiration, shortness of breath under physical loads, oppression attacks, sleep disorders, headaches. Main group study subjects received 1-2 tablets of Chonluten 2 times a day, for 20-30 days in addition to the conventional treatment, depending on the severity of pathological process. 29 control group patients with similar symptoms were prescribed only generally accepted means of treatment.
Chonluten efficacy was estimated with respect to the dynamics of patients’ complaints, as well as by clinical blood and urine examination, blood biochemistry, lungs radiography, sputum microscopy and respiratory functions analysis. It was found, that Chonluten application in addition to conventional treatment in 82% of patients with chronic bronchitis and asthmatic component facilitated the improvement of their general state, decrease in cough fits and oppression attacks occurrence, increase in physical working capacity. Lung auscultation in dynamics in some cases evidenced the disappearance of dry whistling or buzzing sounds in the lungs. Exterior respiratory function indices were improved (Table 10).
In the process of Chonluten administration the microscopic structures of the sputum, e.g. leukocytes, epithelial cells, Kurschmann’s spirals, were gradually reduced, pointing out a decrease in the inflammation and bronchial spasms.
Therefore, the results of clinical trials evidence Chonluten therapeutic efficacy and expedience of its application in the complex treatment of patients suffering chronic bronchitis.
No side effects, complications, contraindications or drug addiction were revealed during Chonluten administration.
